No Animals Were Harmed During the Writing of this Post


A search through the World War II Archive Center turned up this surprising photo. It is believed to have been taken in Krakow, Poland in late 1939.

It is known that Adolph Hitler was a vegetarian and animal lover but, until now, not suspected that it helped determine the outcome of the war. An order from the German High Command was included with the photo. Order Z267Y stated, “No animals are to be harmed during the execution of this war“.

The American Motion Picture industry later adopted this same policy. Hmmmm? Perhaps all Nazis didn’t escape to South America.  tom vickers
