Lifelong residents of this West Virginia community say that in addition to “mad-dog” rabbit crime, the coldest winter in recent years seems to have thwarted normal inhibitations.

Leonard Smart, a lifelong resident of Nicholas County, had this to say, “I haven’t seen this kind of behavior since they closed down the last moonshine still in this county.”
